About Samsung Village

Welcome to Samsung Village! On this blog we tell stories about what’s happening across Samsung’s many diverse companies. Here you can expect to see news and human interest stories, viewpoints on trends and important issues, as well as occasional clarifications to the public record regarding Samsung. Our goal is to be a resource for people who are interested in learning more about us. Samsung Village is a work in progress that will evolve over time and we hope to hear from you along the way.

Our Storytellers
So-eui Rhee

So-eui is a former journalist and an enthusiastic reader of science essays, technology news and comic books. She's also a unique example of how a love for superhero movies and Baroque music can peacefully co-exist. Having covered Samsung for years at Reuters and Dow Jones, So-eui hopes to unveil some interesting stories and insights about Samsung that go beyond numbers and hard news.
Keich Lee

Keich, a circuit design engineering major, is a travel lover and a Sunday school teacher. She has worked on engineering, marketing and communications at Samsung, and is interested in human resource development. She is also a part-time business school student who hopes to enrich the busy life with lots of new experiences.
Kevin Cho

Kevin is an avid baseball and tennis fan who hopes to see Roger Federer win some more Grand Slam titles and the Atlanta Braves get another World Series ring. He has a journalism background, having worked at a newspaper and a wire service. He is keen to stay connected, spending hours on the Internet and playing Starcraft in his free time.
Karen Park

Passionate about diversity, Karen is interested in a wide range of topics including public relations, international affairs, social welfare and modern art. She graduated from UC Berkeley with a master’s degree in Asian Studies. She is a dog lover – Golden Retrievers and Alaskan Malamutes especially – and enjoys drawing, baking and rollerblading on weekends.
